Chris & Kelly knew they were meant for each other shortly after
meeting 16 years ago and it did not take long to figure out they both
wanted to cruise and enjoy the world on a sailboat. So a plan was made
and a five year goal was put into action. 10 years ago they bought Verna
Breeze, sold everything and started on their adventure! Now after 10
years of cruising the waters between the Chesapeake Bay and the
Caribbean to as far down as Venezuela, and chartering our beautiful
yacht for the last 3 years in the Virgin Islands, we would like to share
our adventure with
you. We would like to welcome you aboard our home and cruising yacht to
share the dream and enjoy all the islands have to offer. Whether it’s a
relaxing week in the sun laying in hammocks with a few strolls on the
beach or a fun filled week of playing, diving, snorkeling, fishing,
relaxing, or
looking for the best bars in the Caribbean. So we invite you to come
and experience a dream week aboard "Verna Breeze & prepare yourself
for the vacation of a lifetime!

Co Captain Kelly
Kelly also shares the love of the water and her dream to cruise the
oceans and see the world aboard a sailboat started over 20 years ago,
while walking the docks in St. Vincent and happening upon a woman who
owned a sailboat that she chartered. After a little bartering she and
her friend were off for the adventure of a lifetime or in this case a
week sailing the waters off St. Vincent and the Grenadines. As they
say, "the rest is history" except for some required business ventures in between. Before
setting off on the current adventure, Kelly had many passions... She
became a PADI Dive Instructor and taught for a few years in Florida. She
then fell back into her passion for horses and became partners in a
Hunter Jumper horse farm in Atlanta Ga. She spent 5 years running the
business and showing her horse Tucker with many ribbons (and a few cash rewards), which are now
tucked in a trunk somewhere. Kelly holds a 100 ton Masters USCG
captains license and is STCW 95 certified she is trained in marine fire
fighting, safety, rescue and first aid. Kelly loves entertaining aboard
Verna Breeze and enjoys cooking delightfully tasty meals. Sometimes
it’s a surprise but it is always excellent! She also loves puzzles,
games, kayaking, snorkeling, water Skiing, and quiet time reading a book
in the cockpit or on a lovely beach. She would love to share the
island sailing adventure that she was able ti find while walking down the dock that eventful in St.
Vincent. Who knows, maybe she will see you anchored next to Verna
Breeze in your own boat one day soon.
